Guys, thanks for the reminders on hydrofoils. I have an I/O with a Duoprop and I don't have planing problems. I read about the different discussions on outboard props and hydrofoils. I hadn't heard one of the suppliers before so I refreshed myself. I have put hydrofoils on two Mercruiser Alpha drives before for good results. Want to say thanks for the discussion as I hadn't realized there are foils made for DuoProps now, after visiting sites of the manufacturers. Also, this is more work than changing props on outboards, but there is a company that helps with planing and bow splashing. I've not seen a Parker with this fitted, but here is the site if you haven't seen it before. See, http://www.thesmartrail.com/. I've seen other boats with them. The company lists that they've installed them on a Parker.
