I beleive it does drain back. I have put the hose in the anchor locker with a little bit of proper soap and have rinsed the rode and locker out. The water and suds rinsed out the back drains. However, and this is a BIG however, make sure that the access to the locker over the bunk is closed properly as it is not meant to be a permanent water tight door so one shouldn't be repeatedly flooding the compartment up to foredeck level! A wet messy cabin will result. | ||||
