My ‘02 2801 is about to get cut up to replace he starboard tank...welder called me tonight to tell me he thinks the console is going to have to come off. I’m probably going to do both tanks if that is the case. Really Bad timing for me. Any way you could send me the stringer drawings...

It's about 10" up from the sender, the tank spilt.

Well I received the call today I was praying that I would not get...starboard fuel tank is leaking, from the top. I have a 2002 2801 which has two 150 gallon tanks. Before I take the next step, which is most likely cutting the deck pulling the tank and either welding it or building a new one...

I am confused on what you're saying...I said 12x18's seem like the perfect size, you said you disagree, then said same about the 12x12's...what are you recommending? Just for clarification, I have the 2801 without pockets, 9'6" beam, bracket with T225's.

12x18 sounds like the perfect size...no clue why they put 12x9's on at the factory. I'm nervous 12x12's still won't do the trick.

Thanks for starting the thread TabMan. They are not pocketed, it's a 2002 with 9x12 Lenco's. I took Tabmans advice and contacted Lenco and they sent me instructions on installing 12x12's. I asked if I could go larger but have not heard back yet. Really wanted to go bigger but maybe I will...

Sea sucker makes great cup holders and they stay tight...I have three.

More so meant experience with 4 blades on this boat...
