As long as you mount your new tabs flush with your bottom so they do not effect trailering or lifting out with the forks and you reposition your Lenco actuators to correspond with the new size tabs you will be fine.
Keep in mind though that you probably will not be able those actuators...
I work at a Yamaha dealership and our techs fully recommend Ring
Free to all our customers. They have shown me compression test results
before and after Ring Free and I fully agree that it is a great preventative treatment.
Use to love my anchor windless on a 2510 Parker until I lost the anchor in a hang while bottom fishing with my kids. Never had a problem keeping the anchor line on the windless or retrieiving it.
I spliced in a new chain and anchor shortly after but have found the rode will not pick up well...
Hey John. Thanks for the detailed reply about your tab upgrade using Boat Levelors parts. Your work and attention to detail was awesome. I'm not a huge Lenco fan but that complete retrofit seemed to be the quickest installation alternative for me.

I have a 2001 2510 Parker with a Yamaha saltwater series 225. It has never turned up more than 4800 RPMs under load since I bought the boat used several years ago. The bottom is painted and clean. I can make it turn faster by trimming to the point of cavitation. Because of this I do not think...
