Thanks @pelagic2530. Yes, the deck plate cooler kit by Kennedy is what I was looking at. Looks pretty similar to yours.

I'm looking to install some cooler tie downs on the deck of my 2001 1801, but I'm a little nervous. I don't like the general idea of drilling into the deck and I want to stay as far away from the gas tank as possible. The pic below shows where I am thinking about installing them (i.e., where the...
Thanks to all for the helpful replies. I've been meaning to follow up on this thread. Good news is whatever it was stopped (i.e., no more colored water appearing after having wiped it up a couple of times). I think it was the result of me filling the bilge to test the bilge pump auto turning on...
First full season upon me as a Parker owner! Purchased a 2001 1801 towards the end of last summer and have had a great time on it so far. Boat is very seaworthy and the engine (2000 Yamaha 115hp 4 stroke) has run well. There have obviously been the inevitable little things to worry about /...
I have a 2001 1801 with a 4 stroke Yamaha 115 and have been towing it with a 2012 Honda Pilot, no problem. It’s been very easy getting it in/out at the ramps.
Nice. I've been thinking about bow storage as well. Or, maybe a big cooler up there. There's quite a lot of space. Will let you know if I end up doing anything. I've been fishing on a friends boat out of the Oyster River Boatyard for years. I love the Monomoy area. Hoping to trailer over there...
I have a 2001 1801 as well. Just finished my first year with it up in Cape Cod. Love the boat for all of the reasons you guys have stated. They are so well built and it was pretty obvious as I was looking at a number of other used boats/brands. Can’t wait for the spring! Dreaming of many stripers 😂
Great, thanks all. I was aware of most of what you suggested, but a couple items were new to me. Appreciate the advice. Time to get started on putting her to bed for the winter.
Just finished up my first season owning a boat (2001 Parker 1801). I’ve had the engine (Yamaha 115hp 4 stroke) winterized and the fuel stabilized by my marina. I drained my live well, left its seacock open, disconnected its hose, and tried to run a little RV/marine antifreeze through the bilge...
Nice. She looks good.
Mine came with a custom boat cover that has a motor cover section on the back of it. I plan on having it on whenever the boat sits.
Very nice. Thanks for all the info. I do have a trailer and I would like to take it out on the other side as well, but I know it can be rougher over there. I've fished quite a bit with a friend over at Monomoy, taking his boat out of Oyster River. It's beautiful over that side as well.
That’s great. I’ll mainly be taking it out of Sesuit. I’ll stick around the Crowe’s Pasture area in Dennis, head down to Sandy Neck and hopefully get to Great Island which I hear is really nice. Any suggestions/advice?
Hi all. First of many posts (questions!) I'm guessing. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone. I just bought my first boat; a 2001 Parker 1801 w/ a Yamaha 115. It's in great shape and I'm looking forwarding to crusing/fishing the Cape Cod Bay.
