Had the boat for a little over a year and LOVE IT (only would add/change three things: add trim tabs, T-top and remedy the fact that the factory leaning post is too close to the helm for comfort while standing)
Two issues with the fuel vent:
1.) When trailering at speed (60mph), fuel...
Not sure if I would actually do it b/c of fuel prices and economy, but would you consider a trade (with additional cash consideration from me) from your 23SE to my 2001 1801 w/trailer?

Thanks for feedback...I am going to spring for one in a month or two ready for the season. (Probably the 997, which is the reason to wait to save another month or two!)

I'll keep you posted. wg
Hello to all...just wanted to introduce myself and family to you all and thank you for answering various questions in my search for the perfect boat for our
needs. It is a very useful thing that you all do here and I look forward to being a part of the online community.

I am the proud new owner of Charleston Parker's boat. Own an Edgewater 185 with my father and have run the BW. Had never ridden on or owned a Parker prior.
Haven't had the boat out in the sound yet, but took her out on Lake Fontana (NC) last weekend and am tickled by the feel and size...
