I have the same boat boat, same ride! I have a pair of the larger tabs that the new 2530 is equipped with from Parker 14 X 18 (I think), I haven't installed them b/c I am selling my boat for something larger. They were $650 + tax from the local Parker dealership, they are sitting in a box in...

I purchased the new 20" tabs that come on the new 2012 2530, I'm curious if anyone else did this upgrade, do I need longer rams or will the original ones work?

Sorry I should've clarified that the 30" K-planes I wouldn't want to fish around. I do bring out unexperienced people that get caught up the motors. The width wouldn't matter at all..... All I am saying is there is a lot of posts about making improvements to the boats ride, 4 blades, larger...

I agree, they are well made boats and there really isn't much else in this class that will do all the same. The reason I mention it is, everyone complains about the ride has ways to improve the way the boat handles. I installed 4 blades this morning and they helped, but the boat still rides...

They usually mount a few inches from the bottom of the hull to reduce drag while not being used and not over-tabbling while running hard and stuffing the bow in rough conditions. They probably work well but I wouldn't want to fish around 30" tabs while drifting the inlets. Why hasn't Parker...

I'll let you know, you must have a similar ride to mine if not worse with the additional weight from the 200s. The boat Is downright fast but it only handles well when your really moving quickly. I had a Scarab 302 that was the same way. I'm in no rush anymore I just want the most comfortable...

Thanks Dale, the boat definitely over performs at 46mph at wot. It rides very light in the bow unless I run it like a performance boat. I think this will help get the stern up like it would on a performance boat but probably not help with low plane speed. I have a trailer now so I can play...
