    Transom question

It's also a nice place to sit, or have a sunbathing beauty lay across making all the other fisherman jealouse! :D

    Transom question

Thanks for the info. I was wondering why one would have a cut transom when the other option gives you some storage space plus the added bonus of safety and strength. Thanks again!

    Transom question

Hello again, I was wondering if someone could let me know why some 2520's have the cut transom and some have the engine on a bracket. Is there a performance gain from having one over the other? What is the main reason some choose one set up over the other? Thanks! Robert

Sounds like a plan! Still looking at the 25 but I knew the second I saw the 28 before the 25 I was going to have a dilemma! Anyway thanks for the heads up... lets see how things go... Robert

Went to see my first Parker today!

I printed out the drawings on the web site and by placing them side by side you can see that they are the same... So I guess I answered my own question. But now I have one more! When was the interior bulkhead changed from the big hole plus curtain to a closed bulkhead with a small swing door...

Went to see my first Parker today!

For the 25 they have posted this: Pilothouse: Tinted windshields & windows, with anodized aluminum frames, headliner, overhead lighting, ladder back chairs w/cushions & footrests, companion seats, interior storage and grabrails. For the 28 they have this: Pilothouse (59"l, 82"w, 77" hdrm)...

Went to see my first Parker today!

Yes the dimensions show the same, but I was wondering if part of the cabin was different (bulkhead, berths, etc) or is it basically the exact same layout just that the 28 is 3feet longer than the the 2520...

Went to see my first Parker today!

It was a 28 with twin 250's. Beautiful boat... Thanks Mike! I was pleasantly surprised by the size of that cockpit! and the PH was very comfortable. Usually when you see and read things on paper (or the computer) when you go see them in person you get let down a bit. But not here! the 28 is a...

I'm always up for it! I was only looking at CC boats before I saw the Parker PH. I am leaning to the PH though but would like to look at the CC anyway... you never know! Thanks, Robert

    WANT TO BUY 2520

Brian, I am new to the club but I have been looking at the classifieds. Anyway there is one here in Miami that you can go check out. (I noticed that you have a 305 area code) Here is the link: http://boats.iboats.com/1997-parker-252 ... 16840.html This is the one I was going to go see so I can...

    2012 Parker base price

DaleH and Megabyte, well I did some comps and found that as you said, the actual suggested list price was the only number that came close to the asking price on the boat. It never came close but was always 10K to 15K higher or lower than the boats for sale. As for the high and low... man I wish...

    2012 Parker base price

I have yet to plug in any numbers with current boats out there for sale, but lower is better for me... a buyer!

    2012 Parker base price

Along with the price they gave a low and a high which was close to what the sellers are asking in the used boat market (most of them). I will add the high and low later on today, but if anyone out there has a price list from the boat shows and you have time to burn on please do so.. Robert
