    Kicker Ideas

I have sold hundreds of T8 Yamaha kickers over the last few years. Out here on the west coast, they are THE kicker motor of choice for most vessels under 25 or 26 feet. It will easily push your Parker to hull speed, and will troll all weekend on a few gallons of fuel. They have a stellar...

Need advise on high hours Yamy

We have a good service customer here with an 05 2520, twin 150 Yam 4 strokes, both nearing 3500 hours. Nothing but routine, scheduled maintanence, with the only exception being a weepy oil pump to driveshaft seal on one motor at around 2700 hours. Properly maintaned, those 900 hour motors...

    Trolling with 250 Yama 4stroke

That feature is exclusive to the new, F250B series motors with digital shift and throttle controls.

    Water pump problem (I think)

The fact that you got an overheat alarm concerns me..the pee tube telltale has no effect on that alarm..if you got the alarm, you got hot. I would pull the leg and have the impeller inspected/replaced.

    Putting a new V8 Yamaha 350hp on a 2520xl; or not???

A single 350 weighs 130 lbs. less than a pair of 150 4 strokes....whether or not it uses a different bracket I do not know. Seems the transom would not be an issue if that hull was offered with twin 4 strokes in 2005.

    Another cavitation question

I agree 100 percent...in fact, I'd have to dig through the records, but I'm sure at least two of them were on 115's or smaller, running aluminum props. Also, this won't make me any friends with the Mercury guys, but: I think their prop application software is junk. If you have one, a local...

    Another cavitation question

This may be not as big of an issue as some think...I know Conventional Wisdom says the aluminum prop will sacrifice itself in an impact where the stainless won't, but.....we just don't see that much here anymore. We send dozens of SS props out for repair every year, and sell dozens of...

    Will somebody please TELL ME????

Exactly my point...Parker quality at Seaswirl dollars. I get it just fine...you don't like the layout. There is another thread on this page from someone who raves about the 34. Personal opinion is not what matters...if the boat sells to it's target buyer, than Parker has met it's goals. If it's...

    Will somebody please TELL ME????

It's not a "custom downeaster" or a Grady or a 33 Seaswirl or anything else..it is a 34 foot Parker. It seems to be just that. It follows Parker's interior and fishdeck philosophy just as it should. Can it be better? Maybe, every brand new design morphs into a better version of itself. Overall...

Few Questions about 2320SL (Possible new buyer)

I agree with Optimax...any compartment that will hold water can be plumbed to do so, but only a properly designed and installed bait tank/well will keep bait healthy. A stand alone well mounted in the center deck of a 2320 will not negativly impact fishing space...you will quickly adapt to...

    New 34 to Annapolis

Not even close...the motor went up about 5-700 at retail, and figure that the digital controls will be 4-700 more, depending on specific controls.

    Hello to All!

Thank you, Mike....I hope all is well with your motors after all that drama.

    F115 Differences

Model for model, (both 25") and being only 1 year apart, I would think that the TXRZ numbers should be closest to your 1 year newer motor. But again, those to sets of figures don't fully make clear sense to me. I still can't see the newer, 06 20" motor burning so much more fuel than its 6 year...

    F115 Differences

The Yamaha model designators tell you a few things: the TXRZ is a 25" shaft, 2001 model year motor. The TLR is a 20" shaft, and most likely a 2006 model, as Yamaha abandoned the model year designator digit (the final letter inthe model number) after 2005. Everything about those two tests...
