I used Buff Magic last year and was impressed with the results. It required frequent changes of the wool pads. I kept a spray bottle of water to keep things damp while buffing.

I pulled her out yesterday, gave me an excuse to go fishing (Eastern Bay). An hour of my time is not worth the hassle and worry of her sitting in the marina. She it sitting comfortably in my yard. Be back in on Saturday.

The only time the plug was out, was over the winter (storage).
I had the unfortunate experience that electrolysis ate the bolt that was holding the boat lift motor to the piling.
the motor 'fell off", the lift dropped, the boat ended 50%...
