I wanted to start off and give dues where they are well deserved. The documentary on the refurbishing of warthog5 '95 2530 was awesome but yet very useful information. Although I might not measure up to that standard I will assure this; it's going to be a fun ride as I will try my very best to document mine as well. To everyone else thank you for the time u spent supplying the site with useful information.

So here we go:

Objectives,
-fix dry rought on roof
- fix pulpit and remove old windlass
-remove bottom paint
-custom ss railing, rocket lauchers, radar arch
- plasma cut trim tab from 36x12 to 20x12
-remove swim platform after sale of old motor and powder coat
-install new motor and new kicker bracket with motor (etec)
-install new second steering station
-cut helm and create lip for new lowrance hds12 gen 2touch
-put in transom livewell and below deck fish box while extending battery box
- install chirp and structure scan thru hull sonar

I see that u have read my objectives but I still can't post any pics because the files to big. Who is willing to help to see eye candy. I'm using a iPhone and iPad to take pics and cutting and cropping not doing it any justice? I have about 20 pics! I can send then via email

Yes, tapatalk is the way to go for pics, no resizing to deal with.

As for the 2530, what are the plans for the I deck fish box??

What hull is it? Year?

There is Powswercoating and then there is Powdercoating.

It's all in the prep and materials. Down here they have a powdercoating primer. It is used when it's a part that will be subjected to a marine environment.

the cleaning of the metal is very important..The only way to really clean the welds is by blasting it.

No bought the console from Parker for 375 plus shipping didn't think I had time to form up a mould to meet my departure date as salmon season start for me on July 1st right after I get back from Vancouver island pacific halibut fishing
