First a 24"x54" sheet of 3/4" starboard in appropriate parker off white $111 7$ shipping

Measure from rib to rib center..lol they are not the same from port to starboard

I went to marina measured a grady,a parker and another boat, all the toe rails were 2" off deck.

Ripped the sheet into 3 1/2" pcs for front of toe rail.

Measured from rib projection at each location lol not the same 2 1/8", 2 1/16,
2 3/8" .... averaged it out and left a space for water to clean it out....

2/1/16" winner

I am going to run toe rail from front rib to transom.. will add two fastener blocks..

Need to go buy some stainless 1 1/2" number 6 or 8 screws...

Here are some picks....

yeah none of it is the same. I had a hard time figuring out where to center my dive tank rack that i made. Measured the sides nope. measured the door nope, deck plate not centered. So i asked the engineer at parker and he said its not supposed to be. not sure why but hey im not a marine architect either.

Maiden voyage is wednesday, they finished my list of demands , polished the hull and dropped her in the water today.

So i ran down measured and fabricated this afternoon but i have to assemble on site and i will do at my marina which is 65 miles east ....

ill post in a few days...

Looks great, but 3/4" stock? Holy toledo ... what weight ;) ...

The total weight of 6 (2"x2.75") dividers is 1.75 lbs
the total weight of the 2"x47" bottom was 2.5 lbs
42 stainless steel screw .75 lb

Face/front of toe rail 3.5"x96" 6lbs which is 3/4" on the boat regardless...

11 lbs a 6 pack.... lol who the crap cares..........it will be worth it to not have my lead being stored in retarded places.

Besides what if a weight say a 20" was being slammed into a divider going back and forth with a thin divider it wouldn't last

SO YES 3/4" is the way to go ...Im Skinny anyway.........

Good Grief , Charlie Brown !@#$%

11 lbs a 6 pack....

I got to bring less beer.

Get those pics up!!! I want to see these installed.
I have been wanting to do somethi9ng like this ever since Peter posted his that he made for his 21.

So this weekend was a blow out for fishing so i went to dealer measured another 2820 and checked it against mine the measurements are within an 1/4" on ribs and hull by an 1/8" so i went ahead and sanded and finished pre assembly all that is left is to mount two spacer/fastening blocks and drill 18 ,
1/8" holes in boat hull ribs and fill with adhesive then mount my rails and fish!!! ill mount these bad boys on friday and post on tuesday.......of following week ...
Fish on my fellow Parker Boys....

here r a few more shots the port toe rail will go all the way to transom via a small notch in toe rail (see photos) and a small transition wedge block...see future pick of install

the starboard rail will also go almost to transom it will stop just an 1/8" short of access hatch where wires r located(also see future pics when i finish post)

Looks good!!!

Nice mariners compass too, I made one out of tile for my hallway, would like to do something like yours upstairs on the hardwood.

I may have to steal your design for the toe rails.

Nice work! 8)

I was on a 'factory' boat today @ the Annapolis boat show that had the toe rails and tried them out. :)
Worked great! Might have to add them to mine. 8)

The Nautical wood inlays I Direct import from Russia the are real handsome and are 1/2 the price of buying here....all you need is a 3.5 hp router and 2-3 guided bits $30 bucks each
The inlay is $1200 russian
2200 2500 usa. usa version has brass outer ring....

as for the toe rail with shelves total cost is 130$ i can give you all the measurements i used but you will of course have to check them against your hull ...

you gotta see these things in person they look so "FACTORY" the fit is awesome and they r strong as hell.
