I have a Yamaha F115 on my 1801 and am looking for an optimum prop for fishing - both trolling and running. Any suggestions?

You don't usually get to pick both pitch and diameter...
I've found for best economy and control, pitch to the low end of the RPM range.
For best performance (holeshot), prop to the high end.
17p is a good place to start.

Sorry.... That is so not true.

Look at all the different pitches available for a DF 140 Suzzy. The 14in dia on a Suzzy is because it's geared so much lower than other manufactures.. Big ears get more Bite.

Look at the props for Big DF Suzzy's 16in dia props. FYI: I run a 3 X 16 X 17 on my DF-300AP for a 2530 Parker mid deadrise.
