I have had other outboard motors and the tell tale is a small "high" pressure stream. On my E-Tech it comes out a big garden hose size hole. Not a lot of " pressure " coming out. I know there is not a lot of pressure coming out of either motor s water pump. My question is do all E-Techs out flow just look weak? I hope I am describing this correctly.

Yes all etec have a weak stream unless you get into the v6 where they need the back pressure or it over heats. My 15, 30, 115 have weak streams and I have also asked the question but my 250 has a great steam but because it needs the back pressure for cooling.

If you don't have the reducer plug like on my 250 it will over heat right away as you throttle up.
