I have the Yamaha Command guages that show you oil pressure, water temp, fuel burn, etc.
At about 4K RPMS and above, the oil pressure guage goes up a notch or two from the mid point. Is this normal? When I drop back to idle speed it goes back to the mid point.
This weekend I noticed something else. I was running WOT for about 3-4 minutes and I noticed my water temp went up one notch past the mid point. I got a little worried and dropped down to idle speed. I touched the pee stream and the water was cool. Is this a sign of problems to come? Or is this also normal?
