Just my observation while fishing the middle and upper Chesapeake bay for the month of September. The schools of 6"-16" stripers this year are incredible. to find a flock of working birds is not tough to do. I hope this is good news for the upcoming striper population
 
I'm seeing the same thing in the Manasquan River here in NJ. I've been going out a few evenings a week and catching plenty of fish in that size range. Good to see.

Seeing the same numbers in the lower bay, Elizabeth and James Rivers. Good early fun on light tackle.
