I have a 2007 200hp 4 stroke Yamaha. I got a 'check engine' indicationon my Yamaha command Link gauge today. With the engine running and holding the 'Mode' button in for 10 seconds, I get an error code of '28'. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Also, how do I reset the code on the Command Link? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Tim, thanks for the response. Someone on another site suggested that I unplug both of the two shift position switches cause the 28 error code references a shift position switch issue. I followed the suggestion and it worked. No more check engine or 28 error code. Yea! Appreciate your response very much. Thanks. Posting my resolution in cases someone has a similar experience.
