Can somebody show me what would have been mounted to these.

1996 2320, two of these on cabin door-jam, with corresponding small holes on the cabin door, one high on the door, one near the bottom. Were these door latches latched from the inside?

I'm not 100% but I believe they are currently only available from Southco in black unless you find new old stock. Mine were also originally an offwhite color back in 2000's. They become brittle and crack especially in the cold weather. I stopped replacing mine and removed them probably just like the original owner of your boat decided to do. Perhaps the new series in black are made of a more durable/UV resistant material. I never tried them.

Thanks for the replies. So the mechanism would jut release when you pull with enough force on the door?

Basically an anti-rattle device?

Had those mounting points on my transom hatches, but whatever was there was long gone.
I replaced mine with magnetic cabinet catches.
