Hi has any one repower a 2120 pilot house with a Yamaha 200 4 stroke 4cly. Want to find out how it performs on this type of boat. What type of top end speed and rpm.

why would you do that?
If you are going to repower go to the Yamaha 4.2l offshore 300 hp. Your hull is rated for 225 hp. The 300 weighs about 50 pounds more than the 225. So, I would go right to the 300. If insurance is an issue for you ( over the max HP), then go up to the 225 and call it good.
you will BE DISSAPOINTED with the 200hp repower. That four stroke 150 is closer to 162hp. So, your not gaining much at all.

My .02 take it for what its worth.....

I put over 1800 hours on my F150 and got great mpg. 200 will give you a little more but the $$ is the decision??

I have a 2017 2120 SC with a Yamaha 175 hp four stroke just past motor break in period.
I had opportunity to push the throttle and got rpms in the high 4K and achieved 42 mph and it had more to go. She had a full tank of gas and two 200lb passengers aboard.

I with Syndgoose on this. 4.2L all the weight. I have an 06 F 225 and the new 4.2L's are actually 50 lbs lighter than my 06 F225. So either a 4.2 225, 250 or 300 all weigh about exact same and all are 50 lbs lighter than mine. IMO my F225 is not overpowered.

I have a 2015 2120 with the Yamaha 200 4 stroke 4 cyl with about 100 hrs. I cruise at 4200 rpm, 30 mph, 3.5 mpg. My top speed is 5800 rpm, 43 mph, 2.2 mpg. These numbers are with about 2/3 tank of gas and 400 lbs. passengers and gear.
