Anyone use some portable heat in their cabins? Is there such a thing as a safe unit used with a window cracked open just a bit? One that does not need AC, maybe a small propane of some sort, or are they just too dangerous?

This thing has good reviews, just what I was looking for, thank you

purchased the Mr. Heater Buddy Heater this fall and used it a couple of times in my 2120 and the thing performed better than expected! i placed the heater just below the door and it warmed up the pilot house nicely. The door was wide open and the port & starboard sliding windows were cracked open a couple of inches. The only time i did not feel comfortable with it running was when my son wanted to take a nap down below, that's when i shut the heater off and put an extra blanket on my son. I ran the heater on low on both trips with approximately 6-7 hrs of total run time all from the same tank of fuel.

Blackfished this past Friday in NJ when we got the snow storm in the afternoon and it didn’t get above 30 degrees. You would wash down the deck and it would turn to ice.

We had the Mr Buddy heater going most of the day! :D

You can actually see it in the the last pic back at the dock glowing red down in on the V berth floor.
