Anybody have any stories of extreme modifications to Parker Boats?

Anybody ever add a pilot house or a cabin to a center console, or build a boat from a bare hull?

It's snowing out and I am looking forward to warmer temps but today all we can do in northeast is dream, think, and plan for next season.

I have a 1988 23 SE that I bought new as a bare hull. I want to do something way different than a center console now and am looking for ideas.

A number of members here have done extreme makeovers.
Check the project section, and especially Warthogs 2530 thread.

Looks like you have followed the K.I.S.S. principle to a T.

Yes I believe in K.I.S.S.

Bare hull was $6,800 in 1988.
200hp Johnson was $5700.
A little Plywood, some polyester resin, paint and some hardware and you’ve got a nice functional Parker 23.

Fished this boat in NJ 12 months a year for many years.

A couple of years later, Parker wouldn’t sell bare hull anymore.

Now I have more experience with plywood and resin, so I am looking to be more elaborate.
