Anyone interested in trying one of these backing plates on their Gemlux 315530 stock rod holder for 2320. My boat is inaccessible now. They are made from 1/8 stainless. Will ship to you. I want to know if the bolt pattern lines up. If they fit, I will send 3 more if you pay shipping.
Parker said they use Gemlux 315530 for standard rod holders.( Attached is the data.) Question. Is it enough to just buy the backing plates and call it good for trolling or do we pull those holders and replace them with stronger ones? I think at a minimum I should have swivels in the aft corners...
Syndgoose, The Gemlux you bought, do the have the same bolt pattern as the original ones from factory? It sounds like Parker uses Gemlux Rod holders. I also have a 21 2023. Hoping to get rid of the plastic ones. Please let me know. Thank you.
I'm assuming it is aluminum. I wish I had a dxf file for that I have a waterjet to cut them. Even to get the bracket mounted would be a big step. Looks great.
I wanted to have some letters made for theside of the pilot house on my 2320. I'm adding a photo of Cat's Cradle do you can see the location. Can anyone guestimate the letter size so it would be visble over the gunnel? Thank you up front.
Thanks for the tips southofblock. Those are my plans now. I will see how that boat pulls around RI and MA this summer. It may turn out to be more than i want to deal with. Besides i love fishing NE waters. Easy access, no crowds, most ramps are free or at least cheap. I will retire in 2 years...
