Question about 2510 with Mod V hull

I don't know the size. I bought this boat used after the original owner had it for only 2 years. But I believe they are whatever Parker would have installed at the factory. When I'm fishing in crappy conditions.....I don't say, "oh, wish I had a deep v". I say, "I'm sooo glad I have this...

Question about 2510 with Mod V hull

I have a 2008 2510 XL with a 250 hp. Fish out of cape may, normally 10-22 miles out during the summer at the deep water fluke grounds....no problems running out and back....normally run 24-28 mph unless there is a deep swell. As another person noted, adjusting the trim makes a difference when...

Parker 2510 xld WA for NE waters

I have a 2008 2510 XL with a 250. It is a great boat...nice cabin and helm area, plenty of room to fish and store my gear. When people ask my what kind of boat I would get if I hit the lottery, I say the same boat I have now, but a DV with twin engines. I generally fish out to 22 miles out of...

    2510XL Walkaround

I moved up from a 2110 to the 2510 this summer, a 2008 with a 250. The 2110 was a DV, the 2510 is the XL hull. I was a little concerned before I moved up because of the 16 degree, but I can't tell the difference. The 25 is a heavy enough boat. And the 16 v 21 degree is at the transom. I think...

engine sputters at high speed/ rpm

I had a similar issue once, the rpm's would drop when running at higher speeds, then pick up again. Funny thing is, I could trim the boat to one side and it ran fine. Not safe under some conditions though I think there is another filter under the hood, maybe a VST filter? Had it replaced, no...

Looking for feedback on a 2008 2510 WA

Thanks Yes, the 2008 is a 16 degree. I've been reading prior discussions on this board between MV and DV, but I'm not sure if they pertain to the 14 degree or 16 degree. There must be a reason Parker changed it to a 16, just wondering if it has made a difference in performace. One other...

Looking for feedback on a 2008 2510 WA

I currently have a 2000 2110 WA, 200 yamaha 2 stroke. Deep V. I'm looking to move up to a 2008 2510 WA, 250 yamaha 4stroke. It has the XL hull, 16 degree deadrise. I have always heard and felt I should stay away from the MV, which is a 14 degree I believe. Can anyone give advice on this hull...
