Very pleased with the results so far. Have run 30 hours. Plenty of low and mid range torque, up on plane in 4 secs, top speed of 40 mph at 5900 rpms with 75 gals fuel and 2 crew. Better than expected fuel economy with lots of nice features, I trim, trolling +/- 10 rpm push button, quick...
Rednelos, those are the numbers I was looking for and they're respectable for the Suzy 200 as I could only reach 32 mph with the F150. The G2 is being hung now and weight wise, I am about the same as the Suzy. I am looking forward to the fly by wire and I-trim and they are going to water test...
The 3 gal oil reservoir goes 50 hours before needing a refill, so probably after 5 trips, it will need to be topped off. No more oil changes so there's one trade off. Agree that the G2 is not for everyone as you see on other sites, but for me, I am looking forward to the V6 power with the same...
Thank you for the responses.
Yes, I have a permatrim on the 150 and it makes a BIG difference getting and staying on plane so it will definitely help you on your 200 Yam.
I decided to pull the trigger on a new G2 200 Etech. With the cost of the repower, I decided to go for the torque and...
I am considering repowering my 2120 to a new 200HP and wanted to know if any of you could provide feedback on my order of motor preference, (1) ETech 200, (2) Suzuki 200, (3) Yamaha 200? Kindly respond only if you have repowered with any of these as your feedback would be greatly appreciated...
Choman,
I am thinking of repowering my '08 2120 SC Yam 150 4S to either a 200 or 225. I too fish out of N CA but out of Tomales Bay. Am looking for your feedback on weight/power/mpg and overall performance/reliability. I have been very satisfied with the Yam so far but looking for more power...
I am posting for a friend who recently retired and is ready to buy a well maintained 2320 SC from 2007 or newer with a minimum 250 hp 4S. He is very meticulous and you can be assured he will take good care of her.
Thank you for your consideration! Text at 916 768 4488

I have an '08 21SC with a Yam 150 4S and a few months back, we ran a total trip of 140 miles offshore and burned 41 gals. This included trolling at ~6mph and running in and back at ~28mph.
One last recommendation. Lowrance has a youtube of the entire installation of the A/P here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olOkoOWLBwc for the do-it-yourselfer, wish I had it when I did mine.
I got the extended warranty from West Marine for the AP, just to be on the safe side. Turned out the WR10 remote was not the battery so WM is going to do an over the counter exchange.
Finally able to get down to my boat and get some pics of the helm with autopilot, hoses, Nema network and bluetooth antenna install. The photos were taken with my boat cover on and cabin light on so excuse the quality. I first mounted a 3/4 x 10" ply shelf flush to the bottom of the left side...
The remote runs $350.

All in all, if you already have the Lowrance Gen 2 or 3, it will sync and give you that 2nd deckhand.
Will send pics later.
I will take some pics when I get down to ny boat of where I mounted the pump, NEMA and Bluetooth antenna. I mounted everything on a wood shelf neatly under the fiberglass console out of site. The b/t instructions call for mounting the antenna outside but it syncs fine with the remote under the...
Installed a Lowrance A/P this past spring when the software was finally released. This synced with my Lowrance HDS Gen2 9" GPS/FF nicely. Lowrance radar and GPS overlays and A/P will sync navigation headings in various configurations (still on the learning curve). Finalized the install with...
I have a 2nd helm package, including the fiberglass helm, 2 Morse controls and Seastar steering wheel. All are used but in very good condition. I decided not to mount on my Parker.
