Water in the transom is bad but if the transom shows no signs of weakening you are ok for the time. Never had to make a claim so can't help there. Mooring line on mine broke and the boat got into the dock. Tore the dock up but nothing on the boat that scotch brite didn't take out. Btw did you see someone on Marlboro Point got a new 2320. Haven't actually seen them use it yet.

i got the plastic standoffs from a local hardware store. lowes and home depot have them . they come in 1", 1/2", 1/4" sizes and i used 1 1/4". the separate switch would be a good idea i just trip the breaker when not in use and the anchor chain is secured with a clip and safety rope on the bow...
