    Boat test

Yamaha has a few tests of the Parker boats. http://yamahaoutboards.com/owner-resour ... ns/archive I have found that my boat does not get the mileage stated in these tests and does not reach same top speed. I have a 2005 2310 WAC with 250 hp 4 stroke. At best I am getting 2 KMPG.

Finally finished 2310 in floor box enlargement

FYI we used original hatch and gutters. This gives it a stock look and costs way less to build. We just cut out the storage box below the gutter and went all the way forward to the bulkhead.

Finally finished 2310 in floor box enlargement

OK got boat back and here is final pics of new 383 qt./95 gallon fishbox/storage. Pic shows 2 milk crates and 2 5 gallon buckets inside. It does have a macerator that draws from a sump area with SS slotted cover. We used Coosa board to build sides and bottom as well as sump area. A PVC pipe...

Finally finished 2310 in floor box enlargement

Heres a pic of the deck with in floor box. The box will extend forward of the hatch about 4" short of the bulkhead. The pump will be under the step in the cabin. It will use a new above water through hull fitting for the pump out. I will go by the shop today to see what progress has been made...

Finally finished 2310 in floor box enlargement

Hi John, that is the original opening. We just removed the original box below deck level. It appears that Parker wanted to keep the drain above waterline so no pump was needed. The box never would drain completely and had to be cleaned out a couple of times per season. The new and much deeper...

Finally finished 2310 in floor box enlargement

I am having the in floor box on my 2310 made larger, insulated and adding a macerator. I will have to re-locate the stuff I was keeping in there but now I wont have so many ice chests on the deck when doing multi day trips. The enlargement will nearly double the size. You cant believe how much...

2310, whats under floor in the seating area

Sorry, I forgot I started this thread. I did contact Parker and they sent the the layout of stringers for the whole boat. Essentially there is nothing under the step up bridge on both sides of the in floor compartment except flotation. I took some rough measurements and I can open up that area...

    Cuddy cabin storage.

My best guess would be that the forward area is filled with foam for flotation reasons or to keep water out in case of a forward collision below waterline. I too would like to put a locker there. Charlie

2310, whats under floor in the seating area

Hi guys, anyone know what is under the floor of the step up bridge on the 2310? Mine has the in floor storage/fish box in the middle. But what is outside of that? Has anyone ever puller the deck in this area? Any pictures? Looking to find out if there is a possibility of adding additional in...

    Derelict gill nets

Nice too see that action is being taken. Getting the lost nets reported right away would really help. In Calif. we dont allow inshore gill nets and that was a boon to all inshore fishing. All gill nets now have to be over 3 miles from shore. And I dont think they can be on the bottom, I believe...

    12"x18" Trim Tab Install

I have the same boat/motor combo as you. Mine is a 2005 and also is bracketed. I have just ordered my Rev4 prop and have about 50 hours on my 12x18 trim tabs. The tabs did make a big difference but the Permatrim was huge. My boat can plane as slow as 12 knots now and no bow rise. The tabs...

    2310 parker 2000 w/twin 150hp 2 strokes

I have a 05 2310 with Yamaha f250. Average around 2 kmpg with Permatrim and engine bracket. Twin 150s will burn more fuel. But will have better acceleration and safety. Maintenance will be higher. I think the 250 is the minimum size engine for these boats. This is a very large 23" boat when...

    Older 2510 vs New 2510

You can also shorten the seat post. I have a 2005 2310 and at 6' tall the frame is not in the way, i look through the windsheild. I do have a permatrim and that does keep the bow lower as well.

    Late 90's 2501

I am not an expert on Parker boats but I have read about fuel tank rot on olderboats on this forum. No easy way to confirm thst without tearing up the deck. Do a smell test of the bilge and pull pie plates for a visual inspection. I would not be afraid of the HPDI engine. They make great...

    2310 upgrades

I bought my 2005 2310 in San Diego in February of this year. After looking at the Pilothouse models I determined that the WAC model was a better fit for me. I have already put 200 hours on this boat since purchase and have been very happy with build quality and fit and finish. It does have some...

I like big tabs and I cannot lie

Thank you, I will run the boat first with the Permatrim to what difference it made.

I like big tabs and I cannot lie

Do you have to move the actuator location to install the 9x24 tabs? My boat is a 2005 2310 with the Lenco tabs that are definetly too small. I have already added the Permatrim but have not yet tested the boat since install. But should be able to do that within the next couple of days. It...
