I am interested in seeing where others have installed marine speakers in their 23 se. Mine is a 2006 that came with a t top. I removed the TTop which left a hole on each side of the console... that's where I installed the JL speakers. Sounds good, but not loud enough when cruising...

May be pulling the trigger soon on a 23 se and will upgraded the electronics and install a thru hull ducer, if I go forward. The bilge are seemed to have a "shelf" above the actual bottom. Atleast that's what my memory is telling me. Would like to see a photo of someone's 23 se with a thru...
