Hi, When I bought my 2530 I was told by the dealer that all Parker boats have foam floatation and if the boat was taking on water it would float. Do anyone know if this is true?

Hi, I have a 1998 2530 DV. The original power was Mercruiser 260HP/Bravo 3. That package served us well and was economical at 20KTS @ 9GPH. I sold the engine and drive after 1250 hours and just repowered with a Yanmar 240HP/Bravo X 2. I don't have a flowscan but this new package should do 21KTS...
