    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

Guys thank you. I got the tray from bass tech. This seems like a much sturdier product. I also like how the screw holes are under the tray which will make for a better seal with sealant…

Thank you I have ordered those battery trays that you sent, now to patch 4 more holes and redrill down the new battery box. Anyone have any luck in using the cap on the locktite marine epoxy?

    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

My battery 36v 60ah is made to be a standard size 31. It also weights 34lb. That battery box still not good? It has 4 attachment pints to the floor with size 8 screws I bedded in 4200. Keep in mind I also need to take the battery off and on the boat to charge so some sort of buckle would be...

    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

You have a battery tray you would recommend? I am all for making it best in practice. I went to the boat today and countersink all the screw holes and laid in loctite marine epoxy with packing tape over to get it flat. For the holes for the existing battery box I bedded screws in 4200.

    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

Good question. I have no clue how they get water in there. I just know when I took the screws out there was no sealant on them and weeped a good deal of water. You are right that is in my console. The screws are an inch and a half thick so not super penetrating. Maybe that is where the bilge...

    Help Trolling Motor Nightmare

I wish this were the end to this drama lol it seems to never end with this. My marina implemented a no extension cord policy so decided to upgrade to a lithium that is 1 36v and is the size of 1 lead acid battery. In order to do this I had to removed and reposition my battery box. none of the...

    Trim tabs advice

Every 3 years the shop paints my boat. I use a hard paint that has high copper and it’s a multi season. At the end of every season I run a power washer over the boat to get rid of some of the grime. I am on season 3. Last year I painted my tabs with Pettit eco hrt over what as there. I made...

    21se Trolling Motor Project

Is this as easy as it seems to wire in an on/off? Also if the off switch is chose can I prevent surges of electric from frying my motor when charging?

    21se Trolling Motor Project

Not to sound stupid but I always trip the breaker when motor is in storage. Isn’t that the same as an on/off switch. Also it is recommended to charge with the breaker tripped

    Chip in livewell

I close the sea cock, then where the water comes out in tbe livewell you undo the attachment and can thread a hose on there. Hose needs to be 3/4 an inch. I put a hose on the wash down and then I turn on the wash down, dump antifreeze down the hose attached with a funnel to my livewell. The...
