I have a 1993 2510 and had water always coming in. I have 2 Suzuki 150 on a bracket. I replaced the flappers with duckbills , link below, now a 99% improvement. I also added a windless and 100 feet of 5/16 chain up front, this raised the stern and helped balance the boat under way...
My wife loves our 2510, it handles the So Cal waves well and a nice dry ride. We have a lot of whale and dolphin watching time. But no bow berth sleeping in anything but glass.
Yes it is a deep v. I have not rode in a pilot house but my 2510 rides good in rough water, nice dry ride. ran to Catalina last weekend at 30mph there and back.
On my 2510 I have twin Suzuki 150s with permatrim and trim tabs 21pitch props. The permatrim lets me trim up the motors and keeps the boat on plane and the trim tabs level the ride. Big difference with the permatrim.
I have a 2510 also a inboard converted to twin
Suzuki 150's. I would like to see what you did to the engine cover area. I need ideas on what to do with this huge space, maybe fish box, fuel or space for dive gear.
