Enough with the crazy guy preaching about how he wants you to wire your boat….. I have a more important question how is the 72” on spot lock in the ocean? I just installed a 72” instict on a 21se and it’s no bueno. Unfortunately we will have to put a 87 on when they become available.
And for...
Thanks for the reply’s guys looks like I have my answer even if it was the one I didn’t want. I was hoping to get a 25 modified and it handle the chop as good as a 23 deep vee but have the extra room while burning the same fuel. Guess you can’t have it all.
Use my boats anywhere from back bay fishing to 30-40 miles off shore right now. Eventually when my dad stops fishing offshore I’ll be making canyon runs. Currently mostly drifting for flounder or spot locked for tog trigger sheepshead seabass and what ever else may bite my line. I try to get out...
Suzukis seem to run great I’ve had 4 of them with around 1200hrs on them because the only boats I can afford have high hours lol. One thing I will say is I’ve had a few Yamahas of the same year and the Yamahas looked almost new under the hood and the Suzukis have a lot of corrosion. I like...
I know th
I know this is a fact for boats of the same size are you saying you think this to be true even with the size and weight difference?
I ask this question because I’ve been on down east boats with an almost flat transom that would do 19kts through any sea condition especially a head...
Morning guys I figured I would ask here since some of you guys may have direct experience with this question and since parker is one of the few manufacturers that make the same hulls in modified and deep v. Keep in mind for my purposes im only concerned with the center consoles
My question is...
I know I’m definitely in the minority but what is the point of removing the plug on a parker? No rain water can get into the bilge no in floor boxes that drain into the box and I’ve never had the transom battery boxes leak. Unless your deck plates are leaking (in witch case you should fix them)...
no problem. i just bought a new bigger boat (selling the 1801 if anyone interested) and even though im a cheap bastard im putting on on it. ive ordered the motor before i have even took the new boat out lol. 3k for the motor 1300 for lithium 200 for a mount and im sure there is more...
60” minn kota, doesnt come out of the water in any conditions ive been in and ive used it plenty of times i shouldnt have been out haha. where i have it mounted makes all the difference i think
i fish me, my wife, 3 year old, 4 year old, and the dumb dog. it get tight especially with the bimini top up. id say its doable for just your family but no extras. i dont have a problem with power until i have a full tank my self and 3 other dudes fishing. 4 guys is absolute max for me without...
id hope they would be improved and built
a little better. i love my boat its very close the being amazing but look at how many people have soft spots in there decks, bad fuel tanks, and cracks around the transom area in older parkers. also using wood decks im fine with but not sealing around pie...
i did notice that but it seams like even for 36v guys are recommending 4 and 6. i just want to make sure i didnt do anything wrong with my set up i havent ran it yet with the 8ga and i used 6 when i had it temporarily wired for tog season

minn kota put a chart out for a reason i find it hard to believe they would tell you to skimp on the wire for there motors. what reason would they have?
