I'm adding a helm on the roof of my 2120 and plan on having T/S cables run from the bottom of the helm through the roof down the cabin side wall and to the cabin controls. To do this will require some tight bends. I'm thinking three bends with a 4" radius bend and one bend that can be an 8"...

I did get in touch with a Bruce Looney at Dometic. After some research and finding some numbers on the helm he discovered it is a Hynautic h320. Nothing online about this model and Bruce says there aren't any seal kits for it.

A marine surveyor is what you want. They can do a very extensive assessment of overall condition of boat, electronics, plumbing, etc. Some also give you a range of boat value.

Antidote, I have sent an email to seastar dometic to see if they are any help. I haven't removed the screws yet. Maybe this weekend. Thanks for your response.

A neighbor gave me this helm. After a rebuild, I'd like to use it on a tower install. I haven't been able to find any info on the numbers I have on the pump. H320 0091218 I'd appreciate any help John

I currently have Seastar hydraulic steering in my cabin and second station. I'd like to add a third on a cobia tower on the cabin roof. Can this be done without changing the existing helms? Has anyone done this? Any schematics or direction to articles etc to help with this? Thanks

I agree with the 36v too. I have a 24v 80lb minn kota on a 17' center console weighing in at about 2000# and that works fine but putting it on a 21' that will weigh about 4000# is asking a lot of that motor

I found some green on the battery connections, none on the bep. Cleaned up the green and set the bep switches to house and start. No problems with the washdown causing the motor to drop in rpms now. Thanks for your help.

Pelagic, I hope to take the boat out this Sunday and I'll be checking that out. Hotpursuit, you jogged my memory. I have been told and read that the opt's are very power sensitive. I'll go over those connections this weekend

Wart, I had the thought of mounting a switch in the battery compartment. Should I wire it to the battery, or to the bep? I'd like to be able to turn off everything except the bilge pump at the end of the day. I'm thinking to the bep. I wouldn't want the pump powered when I'm not on the boat...

I've had this problem, especially at trolling speeds, when I use the washdown. It causes the outboard to drop in rpms. Usually the only other things using power are two hds gen 3, vhf, point 1 gps, fm radio and occasionally a halo 20+ radar. None of these are affected at all. This is on a...
