    Cleaning non skid

I give my deck a light scrub with any soap - I use Joy 'cause it lathers in salt water. This gets the greasy stuff off the surface. Follow up with any straight bleach (dollar store) - in a spray bottle for small spots and a paint tray/roller for large areas. Let it sit for a while, then hose it...

could some check the maximum load on your trailer jack ?

Doubt that you have over 2,500 lbs tongue weight. I tow 12,000 lbs and don't have that much weight. Chances are your jack just gave out. Here's a little insight on what I use. http://72land-n-sea.blogspot.com/2013/01/blog-post.html

    115 E-TEC on a 1700 prop suggestions

We only had one condition - cruise, that included ~30 gallons of gas, 10 water, a 6 gallon cooler full of beer, two people (but no dog back then). The rig weighed about 3800 lbs including the tandem axle trailer.

    I played with about 12 props on my 1850 (18' Seaswirl Striper) w/ 115 E-Tec. Here's size, speed in GPS MPH and RPM's for some 3 blade props: Hustler 15X19 37.1 5300 Hustler 15X17 36.5 5400 SST 15X16 35.6 5600 Viper 14 3/4X17 37.2 5570 Rebel 15 3/4X15 35.5 5500 Piranha 15X17 30.5 5500 BRP...

Galvanized vs. Aluminum trailer: Which is better

My rule of thumb is: If you've got a pretty boat and don't have far to go, aluminum and torsion is the ticket. If you beat the daylights out of your trailer and have a long way to travel (we went 14,000 miles r/t to Alaska and back) then steel (galvanized) and springs will be your best bet.

    Solar charger?

I've been experimenting with this one for about 2 weeks. I hooked it up without a controller to a 12vdc lawnmower battery. So far it's been keeping the battery topped up without any gassing. Thus far, I'd recommend it for keeping a battery up. http://www.harborfreight.com/15-watt-so ... 68692.html

    tuffcoat

Some folks on my houseboat group love truck bed liner... Sand - DA, 150 grit (sand flat, sand any lifted edges to flat.) The PO had already filled and smoothed the damaged area on the prow with what looked like 5200 or maybe bondo so I didn't have to do any filling. Small chips were not...
