Bildge access panel - notched transom

2004 2320 has an access panel screwed to the floor in the splash well. Used to access the bildge. The access panel has two round 6" or so access plates on it but they are too small if you need to do any work in the bilge. From factory it was caulked around the perimeter. It's a critical seal...

Gelcoat damage on hull - best repair method?

I have a 2004 parker 2320. Its on a mooring during the boating season in New England. When I pulled the boat in the fall the bottom was severely gouged up. Not sure how it happened. Maybe something floating down river with some metal on it got hung up on the boat. Maybe it was the stem of...

    Horn issues

I replaced mine twice. Once with a stainless horn similar to what was on it. That crapped out in a year or two. The last one I put on was a cheap $25plastic electric horn and so far its working great. I am on year 3 with it. It sounds fine. If I were you I would not get the more expensive...

    Ideas for 2320 dash storage?

Here is what I ended up doing: added a red oak stopper board with a side piece, non slip mat and rubbermaid drawer organizers and utensil tray. I am happy with it for now, until the stuff flys all over the place in heavy seas.

    Fill 'er up or not?

X6 I alway put it in dry, never primed it with the bulb and never had an issue. The darn thing is so hard to get to anyway, being that it is mounted in the bilge and you have to access it by a small round deck plate. If I tried to fill it it would probably end up spiling in the bilge and I...

    Ideas for 2320 dash storage?

Thanks for all the good the input. The non slip mat idea is a simple good idea and the teak stopper board makes it even better.

    Ideas for 2320 dash storage?

I have been using these plastic shallow containers of various sizes (1" deep x 6" x 9" and 3" x 12" and 6" x 12") to stores stuff on the dash. I velcro the containers to the dash with velcro tape so they are removable. I use them to store things I need quick access to: cellphones, wallets...

    Parker 2520 fuel issue

I was reading this and was thinking about proactively replacing fill, vent and supply lines because I had a small amount of black flakes in the racor. My question is this: My 2320 is in my driveway and it has a full tank. I saw a previous post about draining the tank. Do I have to drain the...

Motor up or down in slip in freezing weather?

I plan to keep the boat in another month or so and there is a good possibility that it will drop below freezing for extened periods. I have an 2320 with a outboard yamaha 200 on it. Does it matter which way to store the motor(up or down in the saltwater) in the slip during freezing periods?

    Horn repair

I replaced my stainless bugle horn once with an identical horn and never used it once and when I tested in about two years after I installed it it was non functional. I replaced it with a $29 cheepo plastic one. We will see if this one lasts.

    Seacock Removal Help

i replaced mine on my 2320 and I vaguely remember having some difficulty. The seacock was integral with the thru hull. I think someone told me to put some hot water on it and that was the trick which loosened it up. I didnt want to loosen it up with a torch because it was an enclosed space...
