1,000 Hour Yamaha 300 Service Help

Took mine in this fall for its 600 hr. service. Mechanic advised the belt was making dust and advised I change it, and the idler pulley. When I stated I thought that was usually a 1000 hr. issue, he advised that age is as big a factor (motor is a 2018). $1100 job. Hurts when you aren't...

What subscriptions/services do you have related to your boat?

Tow Boat US is the only one I pay for. Free ones are Windy, Fishweather and Windfinder. I do plan on subscribing to an Inreach texting plan next season.

2018 2300 CC DV Help with stern lift,

Four blade prop definitely helps the boat jump up on plane faster and stay on plane at lower speeds. Only down side is you lose a few mph at WOT.

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

I'll second the four blade prop. No question that it raises the stern when coming up on plane, allows a lower planing speed and improves the ride. At least on my 23 DV.

    Cracked Tower Follow Up

No, the welds are not pretty. But they are up and out of the way. And if they hold, I'm satisfied.

    Cracked Tower Follow Up

This is a follow up to a thread I had started earlier regarding the t-top tubes cracking on my 2018 2300 dv cc. After getting quite a bit of very good feedback and advice from members on this forum, I coordinated with my dealer (Tri-State) and found my own welder to make the needed...

Hot off the press: New 26CC

I actually like most of the features on this boat. Way more storage than previous models and a nice big bilge access hatch. Very slick, high quality advertisement. Hopefully, the boat is just as well made.

I can also speak for the effectiveness of the "back and fill" method. On another note, I remember the first time I was attempting to back my old single inboard into my slip. During the process, I got hung up on my neighbors bow pulpit. He just happened to be there (along with half of the...

    Cracked Welds

All of your replies and insight are very much appreciated. I am going to have my welder take a look at it first to give me his take. And if I do end up having him fix it, I am going to take steps to ensure Parker won't penalize me later if it cracks again. I will keep you posted.

    Cracked Welds

Wow, some good information here. I am so glad I made this post. While I try to find weather windows for my days to go offshore, I do go often and there have been a few rides home in higher than forcasted seas where we took some good hits. Two years ago, the front tower leg screws worked...

    Cracked Welds

Early last summer I noticed cracks in the welds on the crossmember bar where it is welded to the two front t-top legs (see images below). Boat is a 2018 23 DVCC. I called my dealer (Tri County Marine) and after checking with Parker, they advised me to get it fixed and they would reimburse me...

    Roof mounted belly ring?

While I disagree with your assessment that a belly ring without controls is a waste, you are probably right that the T-Top wasn't designed for it. Thats why I was proposing just the belly ring and no controls, to keep the weight down.
