    Recommended bilge pump replacements

Ordered Johnson 2200 GPH pumps with their fancy switches. Bottom is getting painted right now, and I have to replace my main transducer as it got busted up while towing down here. Rock, I guess. Thanks for the help John

Adding a baitwell. Question from a different perspective

I hear you, Kevin. I grew up in Charleston and Hampton (Navy Brat) and I can't wait to get back to in shore, etc! Now Bubbler or Flow Through?

Adding a baitwell. Question from a different perspective

My retirement day is July 2 and I make my final move to IOP on July 3. 30+ years as an Army civilian seems to have flown by...but now I fish! I need to add a baitwell. Not a problem. There are basically two different types: 1) The kind thet hooks up to my through hull and maintains by...

    Recommended bilge pump replacements

Good point, Steve. It was in that marina in Deale, MD, but it has been trailered for the last few years. I am retiring to SC at the end of June. I put the boat in a marina down there last month. The marina is only 1/4 mile or so from my house. John

    Recommended bilge pump replacements

I guess I didn't mean "automatic" they are OEM so what I should have said it the rear float failed and I have to manually switch the BP on to drain the rain water. Recommended bilge pump replacements

The "Automatic" part of my bilge pumps stopped working.(Factory Front and Factory rear 2003 2320DVSC) What pumps do y'all suggest as replacements? I could just repair the floats, I guess. but they are 12 years old so why not go new? I was thinking Rule 500s. Yes? No? Not big enough? John

Trailer Issue/Mishap Bleeding Trailer Hydraulic Brakes

Took my boat to Charleston last weekend (I move on July 3) to put it in the marina. Sometime on the trip something unseen on the road, I guess, snagged the brake line and snapped it from the left wheel. It was an overnight trip so I really didn't have time to inspect it fully. Hopefully I can...

    ProTips: Fuel Lines, Trailer tires/wheels

Free advice. I have had new trailer tires mounted and balanced. Jacked the boat, put on stands, and the battle began. I think everyone should add remove lug nuts, put anti sieze compound on them and replace with proper torque annually. Not really a rust issue they just have never been...

    Need New Trailer Tires

Actually just less than 6,000# with 100 gallons of fuel still want LRE in the 15 inch. IIRC the trailer Ron put me in is a #7,500 pounder.

Excellent replies, y'all. Good info. I am looking at Greeenball Towmasters from Costco. Wow are they expensive.

    Need New Trailer Tires

I need four new trailer tires. Has anyone researched the best value, brand, least dry rot prone, etc?
