    Sold 2003 1801 Parker with F115

The boat came with the 19” prop and I could not get the RPM up to the 5900 range. Going to a 17” prop did allow me to get higher in RPM and it would get to 39MPH when trimmed right. this was a 3 blade Yamaha black SS prop.

    Sold 2003 1801 Parker with F115

Had it made by a welder in Miami. Has been great and since i dont need a livewell, a Yeti fits great underneath. When I mounted it, overdrilled the holes and filled them with epoxy. Then screwed the mounts to the deck and have never had water intrusion issues.

    Sold 2003 1801 Parker with F115

Selling house on Martha’s Vineyard and have no place to keep my Parker. Has been a great boat for the 15 years I have owned her, and only gets used 2 weeks a year, as I live full time in Denver. Set up for fly fishing. Yamaha F115 has 390 hours and had new ECT installed in 2019. 17” and 19”...

2120 OMEGA lll...more photos of mod work

Chase grouse with them? I have a griffon named Freida and she is also a crazy bird dog, when she is not being a naughty brown dog. Real change from my last dog, a black lab. I dont take my dog back east to Martha's Vineyard because of the lyme disease carrying ticks. She is getting happy...

Boat looks great! Is your fishing partner a wire haired pointing griffon or a goat? Best regards, Todd

1801 Refit - the good, the bad, and the ugly

Mike, Congrats on your new boat! I have an 1801 that I keep on Martha's Vineyard for use in the summer. Having been raised in Orange County and travelling in Baja to surf and fish, I think the 1801 is a great boat for the Baja and also for striper fishing up north. If you dont already have...

1801 Question, where do you put the fish?

On my 1801, I replaced the stock cooler seat with a leaning post. It is just big enough to hold a 45 quart Yeti cooler underneath the post. I use this cooler for beverages and food for the kids. While I usually am doing C&R flyfishing, I have a larger marine grade Igloo cooler that I place in...

    Transom crack?

I want to thank everyone for their helpful comments about how to proceed with my transom repair. I have to throw a huge thank you out to the Parker Boats people for the response I received when I sent the same pics to them. Even though I was honest that I was the second owner and the boat is...

    Transom crack?

I got a call from my buddy on Martha's Vineyard who is doing some maintenance to my trailer and adding a new VHF to my 1801 and he sent along two disturbing shots of the top of my transom. The boat is a 2003 and has been mine for the last 4 years. Before I got her, she lived on a mooring for...

    Let's see your 1801!

Keep it stashed on Martha's Vineyard for flyfishing and taking my kids out for stripers, bonito, fluke, and blues. Great ride for my needs. Fast, economical, and easy to keep clean. Also fits in the garage, which helps it stay looking good.

    New transome

Speck, Looks like you did a nice job on the transom. I am just curious why you had to go through the effort? On the Mako and Seacraft websites, when they replace a transom, the wood likes like mulch and clearly has lost its structural strength. On your before photo, the wood looks fairly...

    New used trailer for 1801

I have an 1801 and it came with a roll on trailer. While the deadrise is very slight at the stern, it does have a sharp entry and I question if the flat bunks would hold the boat that well.
