Under Gunwale fly rod storage / OEM holder?

    Flyrod Holder

Do a search for "I Fly" rod holders. I bought a couple of the "singles" and made my own mounting bracket out of some starboard and a section of PVC to hold a boga grip. This was 15+ years ago, and they still look/work great. -- Tom

Under Gunwale fly rod storage / OEM holder?

Here is another option.. generic 4 row bungy racks. The one on the starboard side (no interference from fuel fill channel) has been modified with a "T" shaped piece of white starboard to extend the mounting point aft to get a bit more clearance in the bow and prevent rod tips from bouncing...

    100 gal tank, usable fuel?

I can't give you an exact answer, as it will also depend on your pickup tube setup, but I can tell you the most I have ever added mid-season was 88 gallons. No way to tell how much more/longer I could have gone, but I didn't really want to find out :) -- Tom

    2120 200 Suzuki repower

Not sure what Ox66 actual fuel burn rate was, but to go along with other performance numbers I referenced above, it burns about 7 gallons per hour at 4k. Tough to do an apples-to-apples comparison of actual use - I do keep track of gallons per engine hour, but find I am much more likely to keep...

    2120 200 Suzuki repower

Sorry for delayed response. I have had no issues with engine and have been able to do all oil changes (engine and lower unit), spark plugs, water pump, etc. maintenance myself. Just off the top of my head, I cruise around 22 knots at 4k RPM. Max speed is around 40mph. -- Tom

    1996 Parker 21 DV Review

Just food for thought, but lack of information on a given year model/hull may be a good thing. People rarely post when they are satisfied with their purchase, most people only post when there is something to complain about (other than this site, of course ;) I have a 1999 21DV and have had...

    2120 200 Suzuki repower

I swapped out a Yamaha 0x66 200HP for the 4 cylinder Suzuki 200 and am very happy with it so far - have a little over 500 hours on it. I opted for the 4 cylinder Suzuki as it was closer in weight to my older Yamaha. Performance is great, I have it on a 2100. -- Tom

How Do I Change My Password?

Its not obvious: 1. "User Control Panel" at top / middle of screen 2. "Profile" under "Options" on left of screen 3. "Edit Account Settings" on left of screen 4. Enter new password in two spots, then old password below and click on "Submit" -- Tom

    Seat Cushions Questions

Contact Michael at http://www.coastalcanvasmfg.com/ He most likely did the original cushions for your boat, and if you give him a call and tell him exactly what you are looking for, he can make you up a set. I just had a set of leaning post and seat cushions made for my 1999 boat, they came...

10 hour break in of Yamaha 200XB

When I repowered last year, I remember reading about how the Yamaha inline4 200HP engine computer would reduce power if it detected 87 octane to prevent problems w/ detonation, etc. I'm assuming using 87 won't cause any damage, but will just reduce performance/MPG. -- Tom

    2017 Suzuki Winterization

What are people's thoughts on coating the cylinders with fogging oil? In this context, I am talking about a light spray of fogging oil directly into the spark plug holes, not spraying fogging oil into the air intake while engine is running. I've read mixed reviews - and doesn't appear to be...

    Tip Jar

Thanks to Brent for your continued support of the forum! And to the few others who have donated in the past, it is greatly appreciated! It doesn't take much to keep the forum running, so even a handful of donations per year is enough to help keep the motors running behind the scenes. I think...
