    Thanks

I fished out of that harbor/basin years ago on charter boats. Hows the fishing there now?

    Wet foam

Bilge blowers are generally designed to blow air in rather than suck out so that if there are flammable fumes they will get pushed out and not sucked through a fan motor which may have sparks.

A few words about O-rings, you can cut your too long o-ring with a razor blade and over lap to see where to cut again to get the right length then rejoin with a drop of super glue. We had a kit at work with rolls of the o-ring material and custom made them when needed, trick is getting the glued...

    Fishfactor 2320 Rhodan 84 install

In most cases does it matter which side of the bow you mount your TM? I've seen it both ways and this is on my list in a month or so.

Parts For Sale Clamp on Extended Fishing Rod holder (double your rods)- 100% 316 Stainless - New

What brand are these? Are there any reviews on ones that have been out a few years? After I pick up my new boat I'll be looking at the t-top to see what I want.

    Combination rod holder/cleat?

I first saw them at the Parker dealer on a 28'CC so should be overly strong for mooring my 18'. I googled and see an "Acorn" brand for a bit over $100 which is acceptable for getting the rod holder and cleat. I have no idea what brand Parker uses.

    Combination rod holder/cleat?

Looking at my new 1801 I know I need another cleat slightly ahead of the console and another rod holder is always welcome, have any of you bought or used these?

    Just bought my 1801!

After some questioning on here and elsewhere, today I made a deal to trade my 24' Key West on an 1801 Parker. This is a new 2023 with a 115 Yamaha, T- top, no bow rails and just some very basic electronics. I am getting the bottom painted since it will reside in a salt water canal behind the...

    Trailer Slides

What is recommended for boats with bottom paint? I plan on getting a new 1801 and it will mostly reside tied to my pier in a saltwater canal in Delaware but I may occasionally want to tow it over to the Chesapeake plus the normal yearly launch and pull. Are roller trailers better for bottom...

    cleaning hint

As a Navy veteran and retired Army civilian with 30 years on military bases I've run into the "rules" multiple times, on stationary objects such as walls the stars are top left and on vehicles, boats, planes, etc the stars are forward. That would even apply to a flag on your right shoulder.

    Trolling motor for 1801?

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the Riptide Ulterra, 24V, 80lb, 60" shaft with a quick disconnect. I know some knowledgeable people on here recommended against it but further research shows most of those issues have been resolved and I have to take my physical condition in to account. The new...

    Parker 2320SL Bilge pump question

Is the hose that Parker uses from new any good?

    Trolling motor for 1801?

I know I mentioned it in another thread I'm now in my 70s and things just aren't the same as 20-30 years ago and unfortunately they won't likely get better so I want to keep things as easy on this old bod as I can.

    Trolling motor for 1801?

In reading reviews it seems some of the reliability issues were with pre 2017 Ulteras and after that there are love/hate reports. I need to look at a few models, I will often be by myself and while my arms still work well my knees and lower legs are wore out, if the boat has the raised front...

    Trolling motor for 1801?

I have electric available on my dock. I also have a fish cleaning station that needs to get used more.

    Trolling motor for 1801?

Since my boat will be moored in a canal with me being away for several weeks at a time are most/all of the TMs easily removable for storage?

    Trolling motor for 1801?

How about some recommendations for a good bow mount trolling motor for the new 1801 I intend to buy. My fishing buddy has one on an aluminum boat that he fishes with and tells me I need one with spot lock and I'd also like power retract/stow. So what brands, thrust, voltage, shaft length, etc...

1801 owners and former owners PLEASE RESPOND

So Mr Pelagic, since you're an electrical/electronics dude here's a few questions. I have read on here about BEP Cluster switch, is that a dealer thing or aftermarket? Is it really necessary? If I get the 1801 it would often be moored for extended periods at the dock where 110V is available...

1801 owners and former owners PLEASE RESPOND

I posted earlier and got one response, I want to order soon and need input/advice. Can you operate the boat sitting down with the stock leaning post? Can you tend crab traps with a biminy top up? What options should I get right away? Are the stock electronics good enough? Ask me questions and/or...

    Cedar Creek Marine, in Delaware?

Anyone deal there? I am considering a new 1801 and have never had any dealings with this dealer. Good, bad, neutral?
