The F150's tend to corrode through the thermostat housing also.

Don't bother, use zinc spray paint on underwater metal. Lasts and keeps the growth off.

Yep, barnacle bases. :roll: Use a flat screwdriver carefully, and they will come off. Or dissolve them with the fancy hull cleaner stuff or vinegar.

Look up Bradv and his 2530 project. He did it before he sold the boat. Had 225's on it but should be similiar. Same DV hull.

That is the reason why Parkers develop deck cracks in the gelcoat after about 5 years.

I had one for 8 years, could never get it to run right. Had 200's on it though. Sold it for 3K lesss than I paid last year. I would suggest a seatrial before you buy. Everything else you stated can be added easily. Where did they put the generator?

They are wired at the factory with the cap off.

My cousin has that same boat with a bracket and full transom. We fish 4-6 guys with a full livewell and no problem with wet feet, not water on deck at all. You best bet is a bulkhead like you are talking about, also less fuel. You very rarely need to tote around 150 gallons while fishing inshore.

Drain for the lip around the in deck storage area behind the door. That is known to crack and sink boats. Best to replace it with stainless.

Nice Job! The aluminum bracket is one of the most neglected maintenance areas of any Parker. When buying used, that is the biggest indicator of how well the previous owner took car of the boat.
