    28 center console

Mr. Fleming: I haven't been on the site for a while and for some reason decided to take a look and saw that you posted. I am in South Florida, Palm Beach County. I have much info on replacing the tanks on a 2801 CC. I don't mind you calling or texting me at 561-213-7800.

Salt water corrosion on window frames

Your frames are too far gone to bring them back. It's doesn't look like the previous owner took care of them the way he should have. For any aluminum (or other metals), whether it be window frames, tee tops, piping, etc., Aluma Guard by Rupp is a good product.

    Replacing Factory Batteries

Does anyone have any feedback on the Dakota Lithium batteries that have an eleven year warranty?

    Yamaha 250 advice

I know you're focused on the engine regarding this purchase, but I would also be concerend about the fuel tank(s). The Parker tanks have a life expectancy of around 20 years (+/-).

    Armstrong Pie Plates

Has anyone been able to replace the gasket on thier armstrong pie plate? Can this be purchased from Armstrong or do I need to search for a general gasket that fits?

    Looking

Agree with you Andy. My Brother had to replace a Fuel tank on a Grady. The difference is, Grady has a removable deck access (no cutting). My original tank thickness was 1/8" and my new tanks are 3/16". I guess with any aluminum tank, if you get 20 years, you're doing well.

    Looking

Hi Flyrod: I have an '03 2801 and recently had the fuel tanks replaced. Overall, when the deck was removed, the stringers and deck were in great shape. I would be more concerned about the fuel tanks. With the Parker boats, it's not a matter of if, but when regarding the fuel tanks.

What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

I know that, but like I said, it's misleading. Especially if they're selling a FISHING boat where most of the business is done in the cockpit and that area is 7' wide.

What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

Dusky didn't do anything to their hulls and changed the way they market their boats. The older 256 is now a 278. It went from one of the larger 25' boats in its class to one of the smaller 27s in its class. Same with the 23' boat. That's now a 25'. So, now the so called "27'" Dusky CC has...

    Deadrise degree?

Because it's easier to call Parker. The people who build the boats. It's a simple phone call. I've had to consult Parker a few times and they are very helpful. I'm sure Parker Mark, if he had the tool, would know how to use it. You own multiple Parkers. Go measure one of your boats and let...

    Birdsall Leaning Post

I've done a lot of business with Birdsall. Yes, you will pay more, but the quality is top notch. Consider the 40" Baitmaster. You get your seat w/storage, livewell and tackle storage all in one.

    Cowling Cover Replace or Fix

Outboard Paint Shop in Miami. Had two (2) Suzuki Cowlings repainted with factory paint and decals. They look brand new. They also repair damaged cowlings.

What’s changed since correct craft bought Parker?

The new "Parker Offshore" that they first introduced at the Miami Boat show is garbage compared to their standard CC designs. It's a "run of the mill" production boat that basically is on par with so many other production boats. Nothing "Parker" about it.

    28 center console

To K/A: Fuel burn with twin 250 DFs at 4000-4200 RPM is about 21-24 gal./hr depending on weight of boat, sea conditons, etc. (total, both motors).

    28 center console

To CCParker: I own an '03 2801. First purchased with twin Yamaha 225s. Repowered in '13 with Suzuki 250 DFs. Seat and rocket launcher is a 40" Birdsall Baitmaster. Birdsall Marine also welded piping for new Rupp outriggers. I enhanced the transom fish box with additional foam and applied...
