    What Props?

Thanks, that is exactly the type of info I am looking for. Right now, I probably average around 1.6 to 1.7 GPM fuel burn, and at 4500 RPM's I am cruising about 30 MPH. I would like to increase fuel efficiency, I have heard that those Merc props are more speed oriented, which would increase my...

Upgraded my stock Lenco's to 12x18's

Did yu move the actautors as well? Do the tabs line up with the hull correctly? I want to do the same thing, but some one told me I would have to move the actuators as well which doubles the size of the project.. out

    What Props?

Hello, I have a 25' DVSC with twins F150's, I am currently running the stock black stainless steel props. Does anyone know or has anyone changed props on a simalar set-up, I would like to gain some fuel effeciency and maybe speed if possible. Hole-shot is not my biggest concern, although I don't...

    yamaha 150 dropping rpms

Check your ground connections all the way back to the one on the block, I had some simalar symptoms, and it ended up being a bad ground/cable to one of the motors(twin f150's). The connection on the block had some minor burning discoloration like it had been arcing intermitantly. hope this...

    Bad Battery Cables?

So I have had this electrical ghost for almost exactly 1 year. Initial problem was that the my port engine died on me 70 miles out one day, boat only has about 60 hours on it. After 9 hour ride home in the slop, I take it to the mechanic, and nothing is wrong and he can't find a thing. Boat runs...

    East vs West pricing

I hear you guys, I walked in to Sundance with my check book about 2 years ago now. The main guy was a kook, acted like he could care less if he sold me a boat or not, I walked out without a boat. I then proceeded to to L.A. boat show and bought my rig from Johnson Marine, couldn't be happier...

150 HPDI VS 200 HPDI on Parker 2520DV?

I have twin 150's on a notch, the boat is plenty fast, cruise's in the low 30's 2 to 2.2 MPG weather permitting. I was contemplating HPDI's also, but at the time twin 150's was the largest set up they would put on a notch, maybe that has changed? I was only going to buy a notch, IMO the twin...

    New Tower added

Yeah, what up man? fathomthis was the name of my last Parker. I mainly lurk over on BD, way too much drama, especially in the winter. I just want to catch fish, not partake in internet squabbles and nonsense. Thats's crazy that your boat will do that, do you use the autopilot at higher speeds...

    New Tower added

The roof is super buff, I beleive they are made for tower additions. Yes it folds down, but ground to tower height is 12'6" so I don't plan on folding down a whole lot.

    So Cal Parker Owners

Sounds great, I would boat and fish down, did it a couple of times last season, excellent adventure. The slips are like $30.00 per night, the only bummer is that that the coral doesn't always have fuel to refuel the boat.

    New Tower added

Yeah, I got it from Bill @ Mariner, I was going to go with Pacific Yacht Towers until you posted pics of your's, way better that PYT and also way buffer, and a super fair price. I am not sure which auto pilot, I think I am down to the Simrad 16 unit or the other one that is getting great...

Just put this on a couple of weeks ago. Probably going to add Auto pilot and then call it good for this winter's upgrades, maybe trim tabs next. out

    New Tower

Thanks for the come back, can't wait for the pics. What is the name and number of the tower guy in O-side? I'm ready to pull the trigger, I already got a quote from Pacific Yacht Tower, but wouldn't mind another. Does the zodiac 4 man come with the hard case and bracket?

    New Tower

Tara, That tower is sick, do you also have a life raft mounted on the roof? I want to do the same thing on my 25", is there enough room for your feet while you are in the tower when the raft is mounted? If it is not too much hassle, could you post a pic of the roof configuration? What size raft...

    Electrical Glitch?

I have been doing some reseach, and I guess there was "hotstart" retrofit that they have done on the 04 and 05 motors, the syntoms sound the same for me except that my motor had problems cold as weel as hot? Again, any help would greatly be appreciated, sometimes electrical glitches like this...

Found this site an another board, Looks like the place to be if you like Parkers. Sold my first Parker, 1991 25 DVWA single 250 last spring. Took delivery of my new Parker, 2005 DVSC twin F150's directly on the transom in the fall 05. For the money, you can't buy a more solid all around boat. IMHO
