    Parker dining table question

The table legs un-screw from the floor plates. The metal floor plates have a threaded stub that goes up into a hole in the plastic end-cap of the table support pole. They tend to stick pretty badly if they have been there a long time, which can cause the plastic flange on the post to break...

    Parker dining table question

Updating this thread with some new information. I tried to repair mine with some generic RV floor plates, but they broke on the first outing (well, it was worth a try for $10). After more careful inspection I realized that what I had were the Todd type that SCREW IN to the floor plates. Here...

    Parker dining table question

^^^ This There seem to be two types of pedestal/socket combinations. The Todd units are 2.0" diameter and the "socket" is threaded at the very center, and there is no flange on the post - it screws into the socket. Mine uses a common RV style which is 1-1/4" diameter and simply pushes into...

    Help identifying table pedestal

Also, for what its worth, if you have the unthreaded 1-1/4" poles (like I do) the $10 Faulkner pieces are a straight match - the screw holes line up and they are a drop-in replacement. They are not quite as thick as the originals, but I'm sure they will be fine for another 10 years or so...

    Help identifying table pedestal

It looks like you have the Todd version, which appears to thread into the pedestal base. You'll need to get a strap wrench on them and "unscrew" them. It might take a little liquid persuasion like break-free or Kroil...

    Favorite cup holders?

Yea, they don't look very durable, but for $2 each I figured I'd give them try. At least they actually hold beer cans, beer bottles, and coffee mugs, unlike those stupid Scotty ones!

    Favorite cup holders?

How do you install them? Just screw them down on a horizontal surface?

    Favorite cup holders?

For $13 I got 6 of these. We’ll see how they hold up. I’m going to install them with VHB all over the place. https://a.co/4HbcZJG after losing about 1/3 of our nest egg in the market and <10 years from retirement I’m starting to be a bit less in cautious with my spending. That and $7 a...

    Favorite cup holders?

Do you have to re-attach for each outing, or do they maintain suction?

    Favorite cup holders?

Our '93 doesn't have any cup holders, anywhere. It has always bugged me and I've tried the suction-cup type ones and none are reliable. I'm ready to hard-mount some decent cup holders, but I can't find any I like. I bought a set of the Scotty ones that slide on and off or a mounting tab...

    Help identifying table pedestal

Thank you for taking the time to take those pictures and send them, I really appreciate it! When you install the pedestals, do they "screw in"? It looks like there is a threaded post in the center of the "cup" that goes up into the pedestal (which would make it very secure - good design)...

    Help identifying table pedestal

Just did a bit of research on that one. Looks like it is for a 2.0" post, and mine measures 2.25". I found his generic one for RVs that appears to be the correct dimensions, and because it is sold by an RV shop and doesn't have the word "marine" associated with it, they are only $10 each...

    Help identifying table pedestal

Thanks. That does look very much like them (unthreaded). I will dig around and try to find exact dimensions. There seem to be a number of companies making these pedestal mounts and they all look very similar and are made of aluminum.

    Help identifying table pedestal

Our dinette uses these flush mount pedestal bases. Unfortunately they are made of aluminum and one totally rotted out and the other is close to going. I'd like to find an exact match so that the screw holes line up. Does anyone know where Parker might have sourced these back in the early to...

Engine Height and staying on plane at low speed

Did you capture any data? If not, anything you do to change will only be measured by “hmm it seems to feel different” but your brain can trick you. Having real data is better. Make a table with the following rows: 500 1000 1500 2000 2500 And so on up to redline. Now make columns for: SOG...

    Parker 2320 (225 vs 250 vs 300)

Based on my own experience with three engines (250 OX66, BF225, BF250) on my 2330DV, I will say that equally important to HP is the TORQUE. Unfortunately OB manufacturers don't publish torque numbers, so you just have to listen to anecdotes and weigh them for yourself. I found that the Honda...

Parker 2320 boat lift set up: distance between bunks and how long bunks?

What does your trim angle say when you're "level" with the hull?

Thanks. I think with this new Honda it is “programmable” within the fly-by-wire helm control. I’m just curious what a typical range is for people. e.g. do most peoples’ engines trim out level at nearly 70% or is something closer to 50% more “normal”? I’m really just curious and looking for...

What does your trim angle say when you're "level" with the hull?

When I do that it reads 65% That’s why I’m curious about other people’s’ setups

Upgrading from Honda 225 to new style fly-by-wire 250

That bright white sure makes the Parker look it’s age! The fly by wire is really nice - so smooth.
