What did you pay for your Parker boat and when?

Still have this one too. 2004 21se. Bought in 2006 for either $18k or $20k. Can’t remember. Has a trailer, had no electronics when I bought it. Still have it, still love it!

What did you pay for your Parker boat and when?

2016 25XLD with a single 300, trailer, Garmin 7612, paid $86,000 in December 2018. Added another 7612 in the 2nd station, replaced all the cushions in the bunk, replaced the lower unit in 2021 due to water intrusion. Been a great boat!

    2520 ENGINE OPTIONS

I would love to do this but I haven’t been able to find anyone to do it, nor could I find a good used 350. I’d like to try a new 425 but with the bracket not rated for it, no dealers will do it, not that I’ve found anyway. If anyone knows a dealer who would do a 425, I’m in.

    2520 ENGINE OPTIONS

I have a 25XLD with a single 300. It’s sufficient for the in shore / near shore fishing i do. I like the simplicity and maintenance of the single. If you’re running off shore, go for the twins. Full of fuel, that tank you’re doing, gear, you’ll be glad. The single 300 is good enough, and it...

    Deadrise degree?

you probably should measure it but I believe the SE is 18 degrees, the Dv is 21. Its probably listed on the Parker website somewhere.

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

I have the same hull (2520XLD) and Permatrim made no difference in ride quality. It planes better, but the ride is the same. Depending on budget, look at the new Seakeeper trim tab things. I’m going to see if I can find someone to install them this winter. They look pretty impressive. I think...

Advice Needed!! Denied outboard warranty claim

Those extended warranty companies look for any way possible to worm out of paying. I’d start by talking to a supervisor and tell him that you want the reason they are declining it in writing. Usually if you make enough noise and go far enough up the chain, if the damage is legit, they’ll pay...

Windshield wiper staying on glass - repair question

Thanks guys. That’s kind of what I was thinking of doing. I have some oil absorbent pads. Maybe I’ll lay those on the glass, lube that area up and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestions!

    Fuel consumption

Thank you!! I believe I still have the original prop. I’ll put it on and see what happens. Thanks for the response!

    Fuel consumption

I run almost identical to you in terms of load, getting on plane and trim. It seems like the only real difference is our props. Post or PM those if you ever get a chance. I’d love to get that speed / fuel numbers.

Windshield wiper staying on glass - repair question

So I have a 2520XLD and I love it. I’m on it all the time. Anyway, when I push the windshields out for ventilation, the wipers obviously stay on the glass. When I lower the glass, the wiper arms don’t retract. They stay up in the air. I can see a spring in there that I assume is supposed to...

    Parker 2520 XLD's with Yamaha 350

I wanted to do that on mine but I could not find anyone who would do it. Parker will only allow a single 300 apparently. If you want more than 300 you have to go twins.

    Pulling a 25se with 1500 truck

I know a guy on Long Island who pulls a 25se with a Dodge 1500. He’s burned up a transmission, but it does the job. I wouldn’t do it with that truck but he does.

    Fuel consumption

I have a 4 blade and Permatrim. I’m lucky to get 1.6. Usually I’m 1.3 to 1.5 and at 4700 I’m doing about 25-26mph (not knots). Same engine, same waters, similar load.

    New Yamaha 425 on 2520XLD

We’ll I asked them and got a thumbs down. Parker will only allow 300hp for a single on the 2520xld. They won’t even allow a 350hp. Because of that, none of the Parker dealers I asked will repower with a single over 300hp. I don’t hate the 300, but I wish I could get even close to the performance...

    New Yamaha 425 on 2520XLD

I’m going to ask Boats Inc about it. They’re a dealer in Niantic Connecticut and know these boats very well. I‘ll email Parker as well and see what they say.
