Poppet Valve Grommet, 1996 Yamaha 225

In a futile attempt of replacing the PV on the engine, the grommet fought tooth and nail, eventually passing thru the opening into the water jacket. I turned on the hose at the static flush port in hopes of getting it back to the opening. I saw it twice, but each time when I tried with long...

    Parker for cruising

Anyone use their Parker for cruising, overnighting, sand barring, bar hopping, ... instead of strictly fishing? If so would like to hear what you added to adapt it to overnighting. My serach continues. Seems anything that is in decent shape is some distance from me.

    150s on a 28?

Saw this on the local CL. Surprised to find twin 150s mounted on it instead of larger OBs. Am I wrong in thinking the 150s would barely push this through the water and would suck a fuel like a thirsty camel? I could see twin 250s, but not 150s unless one didn't mind getting nowhere fast...

    Parker with straight inboard

No affiliation. Just aware that these are considered rare and some of you have expressed interest in having one. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/boa/4542572468.html A pilothouse with inboard seems more traditional to me.

Thoughts on asking price of 2006 2520XL

What are your thoughts on a very clean 2006 2520XL with a Yamaha 250 with 100 hours and a Yamaha 25 with just a few hours. The owner installed it as a back-up motor for just in case. The seller is the second owner. First owner didn't use it much and second owner used it even less. Sits on a...

25 Parker pilothouse out of NAB Little Creek

Two summers ago, a very kind man offered to take me fishing on his 25' Parker pilot house as he wanted someone to fish with and share gas expense. In the midst of a small remodel, I lost your business card. Sorry for not getting back with you sooner. If you happen to read this and the offer is...

Reel Time Walk Around fishing CBBT Wed 8 June 2011

Are you a member on this board or does anyone know the owner of a Parker walk around with dual console steering, named Reel Time with a Marlin painted in between Reel and Time? I believed he headed back to one of the marinas in Norfolk adjacent to Little Creek. I have pictures to email him...

    Wannabe from Chesapeake, Va

Good afternoon. I've been a browser of this forum for a year or more. Decided to register and ask if anyone is near the northern side of Baltimore. There is a '99 25 sport cabin for sale in that area. They may be familiar with this particular boat or could give it an once over for me. Persently...
