    New guy from Dallas, TX

Hey Green, Welcome to ClassicParker! I like all the Parkers, but like the 2520's the most; actually I like the 2530's (or 2830's) the most, but pretend to like our 2520 the most......

    Extra rod holders 2021 2320

I don't think he was having health issues, but he did have family and kids; and I'm sure that takes some tending to ☺.... I think he spent more of his online-time on The Hull Truth; he enjoyed the 'lively banter'!

Beautiful set up! Love the twin MFD's, and for that matter all the rest of it too!

    Extra rod holders 2021 2320

I don't mean to butt in here, but I didn't want you to wait long for a reply. Syndgoose was once an active member here at Classic Parker, but he has not posted in a couple years. I'll be surprised if you get a response.

    Im back

Hey Reel Addiction, great to see you back at CP!... Your new Parker is amazing; looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing your thoughts on old-Parkers vs the new ones; is there really much difference? .... Just out of curiosity, what sportfishing boat did you have in the interim?

Testing new autopilot, Garmin Reactor 40, in a 2320SC

Hey Kapulani, Swatski was an active CP participant a few years ago. He sold his Parker, bought a larger (different brand) boat, and has not been active here since doing so.... I don't think he monitors CP so he likely won't be responding to your question..... Didn't mean to butt-in here; but I...

Hey Smokin Joe, Welcome to Classic Parker! Nice seeing more 'visitors' joining up... When I logged on here a few days ago, there were 26 Members online, and 940 Guests; this is a common occurrence that always baffles me.... I've found the CP folks to be a tremendous amount of help, and without a...

    2007 Parker 2520 XL H.P.

The short answer is 'yes', there is a noticeable difference. But doing 25mph, in a 3 foot 'chop' in most any boat is going to be a rough ride. I'm basing this on a 3' chop in the Pamlico Sound, Albemarle Sound, and Pungo/Pamlico Rivers. (all shallow waters, with 'square' waves). A true 3' chop...

    2007 Parker 2520 XL H.P.

If it is the 'deep'-V it will be designated 2520 XLD. And the visual tell-tale is looking at the bow. How many lifting strakes are on the hull? If there are two, then it's the deep-v. See photo; this is the deep-V; there are two lifting strakes.

    hey

Hey Kevin, Welcome to Classic Parker! I'm sure you'll have a wealth of knowledge to share with all the Parker owners here at CP... When you get a chance, post some pictures of the 2520 you're running, and how you have it rigged. I'm on the east coast, (near the Parker factory) but have been...

Install Kicker motor 2320SL Armstrong bracket

To piggy-back on Warthogs suggestion. I had removed all of the s/s screws in the front windows (Diamond Sea-Glaze) of our 2520, and installed nylon washers under all of the the screws before re-installing. I also used Fluid Film on the screws to add some extra protection where the screw-part...

    windlass

Hi Hali-Bootie, here's a 'snip' of our Pro-Fish 700.... I also have a dozen videos of it if interested. Although I don't have an issue with the anchor rode 'piling up' in the rode locker, with your 600 feet it would help to mount yours farther back (Like Warthog does), over the deeper part of...

    2501 SE?

This may help.... Here's a picture of a 2501. It shows two lift-strakes at the bow, and 2 means it's the deep-v... at least it does with all other Parker 25's...

    Parker Font Boat Name

Hi oakhillseric, At first, I thought you put the line over the 'E' (and the 'A') as a 'pronunciation-aid', as in a 'long-E', 'long-A'... (pronounced Fee Lay, in stead of fella)... If not a pronunciation-aid, I'd say remove the line/lines to lessen confusion. (just my opinion).

    replacement cushions

Hi gman, try Ryan Allred at 252-241-4907.... I don't think they have a web site. They supposedly do a large variety of boat-related services, including boat cushions; I don't know this for a fact, but I've heard they're on Gillikin Road, Harkers Island near Otway. Please let us know if you...

New Member! Exploring the Great Lakes

Hey DrVagabond, welcome to ClassicParker... I agree you made a good choice between the other boats you mentioned; a prejudiced opinion, as we too have a 2520 XLD. There's a lot of mostly non-BS, yap-crap conversation here on ClassicParker, and an amazing number of experienced, talented folks who...
