    My ignition key melted!

Not entirely sure. The tech said the melted rubber on the key is a not uncommon issue with the older Yamaha keys. And the problem isn't in the key switch. He pulled the cowl off, did a few electrical checks and said, "Weird, I've never seen anything like this!" Not exactly what I wanted to...

    My ignition key melted!

After a great and uneventful run out to a local bar/restaurant the boat wouldn't start for the return trip. Batteries were good, aux instruments (chart plotters, VHF) turned on but turning the ignition key resulted in absolutely nothing happening. The Yamaha instruments don't come on, the tilt...

Does anyone know what this might be??

    Drain plug. Hopefully a spare.

Pilothouse guys (or anyone) what would you do?

FWIW, the first line I use when docking is to the mid-ship cleat, that way neither the bow or stern get away from me. If I'm forced to tie up on the downwind side of the pier I find that a boat-hook comes in might handy for getting the line to a piling or cleat on the dock. Just my $0.02.

    Throttle cable length

I forgot to check for the part number of the throttle cable on my 2004 2120SC before it got tucked away for the winter. Does anyone have the part number or length handy? Thanks, Darrell

    Long Term Storage

Thanks, Mpellet. I do have ethanol in the fuel. I treated it with one of the fuel stabilizers I picked up at an auto store, I can't remember the brand. May even have thrown some RingFree in the gas can. I may still have the bottle on the boat, I'll check it next time I can get away. But I...

    Long Term Storage

Due to family medical issues I'm not likely to be able to use my Parker 2120 SC this year (only the 2nd year of ownership!). I had put her up for the winter, doing the Yamaha recommended maintenance; oils, plugs, filters, fuel stabilizer, etc. But now I need to let her sit until next Spring...

Question Concerning Pilot House Window Coverings.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and drill/screw into the fiberglass. I found a couple good looking examples. It's not that big a deal, just a little sealant on the screws should be fine.

Question Concerning Pilot House Window Coverings.

I liked the concept, but ... there are no screws in the window frames of my 2005 2120 SC. And I'm reluctant to drill into either the aluminum window frame or the surrounding fiberglass. May have to go with velcro, as unattractive as that will look.

    Custom Boat Cover

I'm the happy new owner of a 2005 2120 SC. Looking for recommendations (or warnings of who to stay away from) on getting a custom cover made for her. Thanks, Darrell

    2003 2120 Sportcabin REDUCED

Bruce: I don't know if the PMs are working. My messages seem to be stuck in the "Outbox". Are you back in town yet? Can you contact me at [email protected] ? Thanks, Darrell

Dislike it more! And stop adding stuff. I'll keep watching and when the price gets within range, I'll take a trip to Florida to check it out!

WTB Parker 2320 SC - 2005 or later

I'm looking for a 2320 SC, model year 2005 or slightly newer. Not too much newer or it will be out of my budget range. It doesn't need to be tricked out with fishing gear and the latest gee-wizz electronic gizmos. I won't be going off-shore, just puttering around the rivers and creeks of the...

    2320 SC Model Year question

2005 is correct! Confirmed by the good folks at Parker. Thanks

    2320 SC Model Year question

In what year did the 2320 SC change from the notched transom to the version that has the O/B transom bracket? Thanks, Darrell
