I tint my own gellcoat for repairs w/ very good success. its easier than you might think.

Other than removing them to wax I see no down side. I fished on a buddys 2520dv and he had the side bunks , it was a no brainer loading the boat in all conditions.

I have the single 300 yamaha on a 2025 xld and propped down it does the job well as long as the boat is not heavily loaded in the stern. My choice , if I were to repower would be the 350 suzi dual prop. The gear ratio on all the rest are to high to swing enough prop for the 2520 xld.

agreed, unless there is a o-ring of some type it's pipe thread. That being said I have had miss matched npt fittings more than once . if there is any leftover pipe dope in the threads a pipe tap for the female or a wire wheel for the male can also be necessary . I have had to tap the female...
