Hot off the press: New 26CC

They leave some important questions unanswered. If it is a true 26 with 8.5 ft beam it should have decent offshore manners. Really need to know if 2 or 3 piece construction. What were they thinking with the batt switch location? And, the batts need to be in the console.

How are our friends in Florida after Ian....

Like our friend in lower Alabama we too are feeling the cooler temps which make clean up easier. I wish everyone good luck in trying to get back to normal. Ft Myers got ambushed and had little time to prep. A lot of nice boats got caught up in the storm with no where to go and no time to...

    Sold 1994 Parker 2320EC (2330) - SOLD

Glad to hear everything is ok. A few miles left or right could have been a much different outcome with the surge. Did you get your power back yet? If not, I can get you a generator.

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

There are always more ways than one to improve a behavior on a boat. My 2801 wears permatrims on both 300s. Trim tabs are completely unnecessary unless you have big passengers on one side of the boat. In a 3ft Gulf chop 35mph/3600 rpm is good with no pounding. Any less seastate and...

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

With the exception of the 2801/2820 an offshore Parker is a 25-30 mph hull. It is an awesome boat and can go faster on a calm day but that is not what it is designed for.

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

Unlike their DV cousins MV Parkers due to their natural stern lift/deadrise at the transom do not benefit significantly from a permatrim.

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

I have had friends try wedges early on but they soon came off. YMMV

How to improve the ride quality on my Parker 2501CC Deep V

Position weight forward until you achieve the desired outcome. Then replace the ballast with useful items. Lithium batts weigh a fraction of AGMs or standard lead acid. Get rid of rear folding seat. Store your catch forward of the console. Store lightweight items such as buckets/dead...

    Permatrim - looking for feedback

Follow the provided instructions. Use 5200 slow cure on all contact areas. Hand tighten/snug bolts. Clean up with good quality rags and paint thinner. Wait a week for 5200 to cure to avoid wash out. Never an issue with top or bottom mount.

    New owner looking for advice

You might find that Suzuki lower unit touch up (spray can) will be a close enough match to the bracket. I get mine at the Yamaha dealership.

    Question about Parker Boats

I happen to be going by Central Marine in St Pete yesterday. They had some CCs and cabin boats. Wow. Quality, fit and finish was absolutely horrible. The 2120 and 2320 had been shipped with no windows.

Thanks for the response. Has the carpet in the cabin been removed?

Windlass Install on Pulpit for those that have done it themselves.

I have done a few 2320s and 2520. Below is a link that gets the drop in the deepest part of the anchor locker. If you install the windlass as the factory does on the rear of the pulpit, the 2320 with 8 plait line (best choice of line) will start to bunch up after about a 100ft. You'll need...

    Cracks on nonskid deck

That's how it is done on newer boats. Nails and adhesive. Nails left in place. Take a peek through a pie plate. Sometimes the nail misses everything.

    Cracks on nonskid deck

They should. Call and ask. It is a pretty basic repair......see if they will let you watch so you can tackle future repairs.

    Cracks on nonskid deck

Those are called "nail pops". That is where a nail was shot into a stringer/support underneath the deck. The head of the nail didn't go in far enough. Personally, I would grind out the nail head and the blemish then repair with some factory gelcoat if you can find it........or be happy with...

    2021 2302 Ride Quality

i mitigated the forward hull slap in my 2320 with deck insulation on the floor of the cabin. One layer of anti fatigue mat from home depot or lowes, and another layer on top of the dense foam squares that inter connect like a puzzle and finished off wih a 160 qt cooler on the deck all the way...
