The nuts are under the gunnel. Not easily accessible in the area adjacent to the middle of the front fish boxes. I suspect you could reach them via the anchor locker with the right wrench length. I think there would be one tough one on each side

i believe the tank is original. I dont see any issues. no leaks or fumes. I replaced the gas fill and vent lines because they were a bit cracked

I have a 2300. I used the fuel vent line. I taped an old piece of garden hose to the hull side of the vent line. I then taped my 6ga duplex to the taped hose connection. I pulled the fuel vent line in to the cc. I took the duplex tape off then used the old hose to pull the fuel vent line...

I started this thread prematurely. As it turns out, my system is wired as your diagram shows. Once I reach a fishing spot and shut off the motor, can I switch to batt 1 or batt 2 to run livewell, nav, etc.? Thereby, leaving one battery full for starting motor? That is, if the switch is on...

I'll get a picture and look for any brand or other markings. One battery hot goes to switch pole/position marked 1. The wire from the yamaha goes to switch pole/position marked 2. The hot from the second battery goes to the pole/position marked 1&2. I agree with you on batteries going to 1...

Single engine...the switch has 3 poles...1, 2 and 1&2. I don't know if that answers your question.
